STAFF and students at Helsby High School are celebrating another year of exceptional A-Level results.
The results show outstanding performances from students, the majority of who are all set to take up their place at their first choice university. Provisional analysis shows 51 per cent of all grades being at A* to B and 80 per cent of grades being at A* to C.
Overall 98 per cent of grades were at A* to E.
Fifteen students achieve three or more A* and A grades.
Head teacher John Dowler praised students and staff for all their hard work and commitment,
He said: “The school is very proud of the continuing success of our sixth form students, which is not only a tribute to their talents and dedication, but also reflects the commitment of staff and the strong home school partnerships that we enjoy.
“We are delighted to note that many students have achieved outstanding individual results. We wish all our young people well in the future.”
