From Facebook and Twitter to new webpages, the Mayor of Warrington is embracing the digital revolution through a range of interactive channels to help residents understand and engage in his work.

Cllr Settle said: “I am delighted to become Warrington’s first digital Mayor and champion digital channels to get more people engaged in my work and activities. It’s a great way to share my news and events and promote the fantastic work of the four charities I am working with during my mayoral year.”

“If residents need help to get online, they can access free, one-to-one support to get online from digital champions in Warrington. The champions can help beginners with the basics as well as help with searching for information, setting up email addresses, adding attachments, uploading photos, browsing the internet and word processing.”
