Frodsham beaten by two wickets

FRODSHAM went down by two wickets when they entertained Rylands in the Cheshire Cricket Alliance.
Batting first, Frodsham managed a modest 118, D Chriscoli, 25 and skipper Tom Wilkinson hitting 24.
The Warrington side had to work hard for their runs but Eddie Platt, 25, Wesley Jenkins 31 and Alan Brady, 23 saw them safely to 122-8.  T London was the pick of the Frodsham bowlers with 4-35.
Frodsham 2nd hit an impressive 241-5 at Mossley, T Burgess 70, M Dumbell 62 and Nick Cornell 39.  Mossley were 164-9 at the closed, J Ennis taking 5-31.
In the TACS Partnership Cheshire League, Kingsley bowled out visiting Chelford for 89, Travis Martin bowling superbly to take 7-29.  The in-form Mitchell Headrick hit 53 not out as Kingsley coasted to 92-2.
Kingsley 2nd were dismissed for 147 at Wilmslow Wayfarers, Steve Forster, 29, Chris Martin, 30 and Joe Kitchen 31 being the main scorers.
The home side lost six wickets reaching their target, Chris Martin taking 2-35 and Anthony Alderman chipping in with 2-6.
