Grappenhall to host county match

CHESHIRE are to stage a three day Minor Counties championship match at Grappenhall’s Broad Lane ground on July 5, 6 and 7.
The match, against Dorset, is believed to be the first Minor Counties game to be played on the ground, although Cheshire have previously played at Warrington’s Walton Lea ground.
Neither Cheshire nor Dorset have won yet this season, although both sides are due to play another game before their Grappenhall encounter.
Play is due to start at 10.30am each day and admission to the ground is free.
