Kitchen blaze in Frodsham

FIRE crews from Frodsham and Runcorn were called to a house at Frodsham after a blaze was discovered in the kitchen.
The fire was at a house in Townfield Lane and the property was heavily smokelogged.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus stsripped back kitchen units to damp down the fire and later used a ventilation unit to remove smoke from the building.
There were no reports of injuries.
