Carol concert in the open air

THE traditional Christmas Eve open-air carol concert will take place at Lymm Cross tonight, starting at 7pm.
Hundreds of villagers are expected to attend and join in carols around the historic cross, accompanied by a brass band.
Roads in the area will be closed to traffic from 6pm and 8.30pm. They are Eagle Brow, between Bridgewater Street and The Cross, The Cross A6144 between Eagle Brow and Lymm Bridge, Lymm Bridge itself, New Road and the unclassified section of The Cross.
An alternative route will be available for through traffic via Eagle Brow, Brookfield Road, Dane Bank Road, Dane Bank Road East, and vice versa.
Pedestrian and emergency routes will be maintained.
