Smith names strong line-up

WARRINGTON Wolves boss Tony Smith has named a strong 19 man squad to travel to France tomorrow (Friday) ahead of their game against Catalan Dragons on Saturday evening, 6pm (5pm UK).
Although the Wolves have secured second place coming up against the Dragons in seventh, Smith is keen to maintain good form going into the play-offs and is boosted by the return of Ryan Atkins (pictured right).
Warrington won the home fixture at the start of the year and are looking for a strong performance in this last game of the regular season leading into the play-offs next weekend.
Smith said: “Any time you travel to Perpignan and play Catalan it’s a big challenge. We’ve experienced both sides of it – when we’ve handled it well and also not so well – it is a good test. They are a good team and will ask a lot of questions of any side. In terms of the ball they are prepared to take some risks and make some errors; they are prepared to throw it around so we’ll need to be good in our defence and with the ball to control the number of times Catalan get to attack.”

Wolves Squad:

4 Ryan Atkins
