Comedy show heads for Pyramid

COMEDY collaboration Beyond the 4th Wall is heading to the Pyramid Centre later this month.
Devised by Proud and Loud Arts, and directed by Cathy Crabb, will be on stage on Saturday May 18 (2.30pm).
The play explores what the word ‘care’ means to people with disabilities. After discussing the care they had received from family, friends, professionals, and strangers, Proud and Loud Arts started to create the play’s characters, before adding drama and lots of funny, ridiculous nonsense to create Beyond the 4th Wall.
The perfect world – it’s not for everybody. It’s paradise in this surreal cul-de-sac. Every want and need is catered for without prejudice or unnecessary medical intervention. So why would Taylor, Katie, and Pete ever want to leave? They know there is a world beyond the fourth wall, and although it is dangerous and flawed, they need to see and experience it for themselves.
Tickets are priced at £6/7.
