Bands wanted for music festival

LOCAL bands are being invited to enter this year’s Warrington Music Festival – the annual opportunity for the town’s talent to play their own material on a professional stage.
The event, organised by Culture Warrington, takes places across the town centre over the weekend of July 19-21.
Any band can enter the festival, which showcases local and regional talent. There will be various stages, including an Under 18s stage.
This year’s event promises to build on the successes of last year’s festival, which saw bands performing on four stages in the town centre.
It will be run by staff from the Pyramid, Parr Hall and Score Creative.
Closing date to submit an entry is Friday May 3.
Would-be performers should email [email protected] including the band’s name, a contact name and number and email address, a brief biography, the age of the band members and links to Facebook, Youtube, SoundCloud, etc:
Full line up for the festival will be announced late May.
