MODEL teenager Taylor Yates from Warrington is hoping to be on the road to success after winning through to the finals of Miss Cheshire.
During the week she studies as a beauty therapist at Warrington Collegiate, while at weekends she takes to the fast paced world of Auto grass racing, winning a junior championship in 2010 and coming runner up in 2011.
Now aged 17 she is about to step up a level to the “Ladies Class A” which will involve travelling around the country competing in the UK Auto Grass Championship.
She has developed her passion for Auto Grass racing after following in the footsteps of her dad John. They are both members of the Leewood Motor Club at Ashley.
Meanwhile if she wasn’t busy enough already Taylor, who is on the books of the EKA Model Agency, has won through to being a finalist for Miss Cheshire as Warrington Parr Hall on Sunday April 28.
“This is the first time I entered a beauty pagent so I am delighted to have been short listed as a finalist,” said Taylor.
Meanwhile she is hoping to be back in action on the Auto Grass circuit in the near future – with the first three events of the season postponed due to wet weather!
