BIKERS from throughout the region are expected to attend a Custom and Classic Motorcycle Show being held in Warrington on Saturday July 6.
Motorbike fan Stuart Wilson, of Sankey Bridges, is organising the event at the Coach and Horses, Old Liverpool Road, in conjunction with motorcycle club the Taliesin Brotherhood.
It’s not the first time Stuart has staged a bike show.
He said: “I did one about four years ago and attracted around 2,500 people during the course of the day.”
All the bikes entering the show will be given a number, and people attending the event will be able to vote in categories Best Custom Bike, Classic (over 15 years old) and Overall Best in Show.
Events, including a raffle, will be held during the day to raise funds for charity.
Stuart, who works for a railway company, is 45 and started riding motorbikes when he was 10. He currently has four bikes.
“It should be a great family event. There will be lots going on and we are planning to have a band playing in the evening. Everyone is welcome,” he said.
