WARRINGTON Wolves have been offered a £50,000 bonus if they achieve the elusive double in the 2013 season – winning the Grand Final and the Challenge Cup.

The bonus is offered by long-time sponsor insurance brokers Doodson, which specialises in sports insurance.
The North West based company has supported the team since 2009 as title sponsors of the away stand.
Neil Clayton, group managing director, said: “We have been sponsoring Warrington Wolves for a number of years, and in that time they have brought home the Challenge Cup trophy three times and also the League Leader’s Shield. It’s been a fantastic achievement.
“For the 2013 season we wanted to help inspire them to do the double and win the Grand Final too. We will be paying the team £50,000 if they win both the Grand Final and the Challenge Cup in 2013.”
Money would be used to help fund further development of the club, helping continue the great work done in the club and community.
Andy Gatcliffe, Wolves’ chief executive, said: “As a club and team we have been growing year on year, both on and off the field, and 2013 will be no different as we look to build on the success of 2012.
“Last year saw us lift the Challenge Cup silverware for the third time in four years and reach the Grand Final for the first time in Super League these were experiences that everyone involved with the club would like to relive.”
