Community library to close

A LIBRARY started by volunteers is closing to enable major improvement works to take place following grants totalling £45,000.

Grappenhall Community Library will be closed for up to eight weeks, most likely until Easter.
This is to enable building work to add a new disabled toilet and enhanced kitchen to be added to the existing building.
A £45,000 grant from Wren and the Big Lottery Fund has enabled the project to be started. The charity expects benefits to be delivered for all
users, but in particular older visitors and carers with young children.
Book loans will be extended for the period and the library will welcome everyone back to a vastly improved building in the very near future. More information can be
obtained at Grappenhall Community Library’s website at www.Grappenhall.org.uk or on Twitter at @FOLGrappenhall
