CHESHIRE’S new police and crime commissioner is to visit Warrington tomorrow (Tuesday)
John Dwyer, who took up his post last month, will meet and greet shoppers at a special road show at Golden Square Shopping Centre’s Old Market Place from 12pm to 2pm.
Mr Dwyer is a former Assistant Chief Constable of Cheshire and was a cabinet member on the former Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council.
Cheshire Police will have a mobile exhibition van in place to explain the new role and will be asking shoppers for their feedback on the draft Police and Crime plan.

  1. I wonder if he will have his highly paid (job for the boys) assistant to help him in this challenging role of talking to people and if he will pop into HMV to speak to staff there?

  2. I was in the old market place and the only exhibition van I could see was for an on-line video service – is this a sideline , or had they not turned up?
