A SERIES of workshops are being held in Warrington to enable people to understand changes to the benefits system to be introduced from April.
Warrington Partnership is organising the workshops which will feature speakers from agencies including Warrington Citizens Advice, Jobcentre Plus, Golden Gates Housing Trust and Warrington Borough Council.
The free workshops are for “front line” workers from any agency that delivers relevant services in Warrington to help them support residents coping with the changes.
Anyone interested in attending should email [email protected] giving their details and the client group they work with.
Workshop dates are Wednesday January 30, 1.45pm to 4pm at St Werburghs Development Centre, Boswell Avenue, and Tuesday February 5, 1.45pm to 4pm at Orford Park Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, Jubilee Way.
