Firefighters tackle house blaze

0

FIRE crews managed to prevent fire spreading through a row of terraced houses at Warrington.
The blaze started in the roof space of one house in Willis Street – and two fire engines from Warrington and a third from Stockton Heath went to the scene.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and extinguished the blaze using a hose reel jet. A ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the building.
Other crews checked the roof spaces of the adjoining houses as the fire was being tackled to see if it had spread but the flames had been contained to the original property.
No-one was hurt.
