More road works set to start

WARRINGTON Borough Council has announced more road works which are set to start next Monday, January 7.
The junction improvement works are scheduled to start on Lovely Lane, just north of Radnor Street.
The existing traffic island there will be widened to allow pedestrians to cross the road at this point, dropped kerbs and tactile paving will also be installed at the same time.
Temporary lights will be used to control traffic for the duration of the works between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm.
The scheme is scheduled to complete in February.
