Bedroom blaze

A carelessly discarded cigarette is being blamed for a bedroom fire at Glazebury, Warrington last night.
Fire crews were called to a report of a bedroom fire on the first floor of a property on Warrington Road late last night.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets and a large industrial fan to extinguish the fire.
One casualty was given oxygen before being handed over to the ambulance crew.
The fire is believed to have been caused by carelessly discarded smoking materials.
