New Year honours announced

FORMER Warrington Wolves’ star Paul Sculthorpe and Grappenhall based concert organiser Norman Cutter have both been honoured in the New Year honours announced today.
Mr Cutter, who received the BEM, was responsible for founding the Live at St Wilfrid’s concert series in Grappenhall and is a stalwart of music in the town.
He is actively involved withWACIDOM (www.musicinwarrington.org.uk) and is concert secretary for Friends of Walton Hall Music.
Meanwhile former Warrington Wolves and St Helens back rower Sculthorpe was received the MBE for his services to Rugby League and charity.
Meanwhile Mark Hughes, the final chief executive at the Warrington based Northwest Development Agency was awarded an OBE.
