Pubs launch search for deserving families

TWO Warrington family pubs are on a mission to spread festive joy by hunting for local families whose special day failed to deliver – and are offering the chance to claim back the Christmas they missed.
The Noggin Inn on Warrington Road and the Mascrat Manor on Manchester Road, both part of the Fayre & Square chain, are looking for people whose Christmas lacked sparkle whether mum spent the day at work, dad was called up for duty or Lady Luck simply did not shine.
The winner, as chosen by Fayre & Square’s very own “Fayrie” Godmother, will receive £1,000 cash as well as a family meal at their local Fayre & Square, backed by the pub’s ‘no quibbles’ guarantee.
Kailey McColgan, general manager at the Noggin Inn, said: “We want to do our bit to make sure this festive period is a memorable occasion for all the right reasons.
“For many people Christmas can be a bittersweet time – especially for families who can’t be together. So we’ve enlisted our very own “Fayrie” Godmother to wave her wand and deliver festive joy to the most deserving family.
“Tell us why it should be you and we could be giving back the Christmas you and your family missed – no quibbles.”
