Woman robbed by teenage cyclists

A WOMAN was robbed at Warrington by three teenagers riding bicycles.
The 31-year-old put up a struggle in the robbery in Grasmere Avenue, Orford on Tuesday, December 11 at around 2pm.
Today, police appealed for information to help them trace the offenders.
The woman was walking along Grasmere Avenue when the three teenagers approached on their bicycles.
One tried to grab her shoulder bag and there was a struggle before the woman dropped her bag to the ground. The teenagers picked it up and rode off with it.
The woman was not injured in the struggle but was left badly shaken.
DC Carl Davis said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed what happened or has seen anything significant, which could assist with our enquiries, to come forward.
“We are also urging anyone who may have seen a group of teenagers riding bicycles in the area around that time – and has any information regarding their identity – to get in touch.”
The offenders were all about 16-17. One had brown hair, gelled forward and was wearing a grey hooded top, black jeans and white gloves. He spoke with a local accent and was riding a silver mountain bike.
Another was of medium build with a shaved head. He also had a local and was wearing a grey hooded top and grey bottoms.
The third offender was of average build and spoke with a local accent. He was wearing a black fleece jacket with grey writing on side and dark blue jeans.
