A motorist has died following an accident on Birchwood Way, Warrington earlier today.
Police have not yet been able to trace the next of kin of the male driver who died after his car collided with a lorry.
No one else was injured and Birchwood Way is now open again after being closed for around five hours.
Anyone with information relating to the accident is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting incident 341 of December 20.
