BUS company Network Warrington has teamed up with Radio Warrington, the on-line community radio station for the town.
The company and the radio station, which is broadcasting on FM until December 9, in addition to its normal online service, are working in partnership to promote services.
Network Warrington managing director David Squire said: “We were delighted to work with Radio Warrington. We have provided advertising space within our fleet to promote their 87.8FM frequency and tickets as prizes for the four weeks that they are on air.
“In return they have added our strap-line to the travel bulletins, and broadcast live from the launch event of our new hybrid buses at the Town Hall.”
The radio station is also promoting late night shopping Thursday deals and the Christmas park-and-ride services.”
