AWARD-winning folk singer Kate Rusby visits Warrington’s Parr Hall on Tuesday, December 18 with a very special festive performance.
Kate’s native South Yorkshire has a very strong tradition of carol singing and at its heart, represents an oral tradition, constantly evolving, passed down from generation to generation, for more than 200 years.
To mark the 20th anniversary of her career, Rusby is touring with a highly talented band complete with brass quintet – a rousing Christmas celebration.
She will be showcasing carols and songs learned through her childhood along with new variations of familiar carols and a selection of old favourites.
