WARRINGTON North MP Helen Jones is promising to make energy efficiency changes to her home as part of her support for a national campaign.
The “Hole in the Roof” campaign encourages people to take action by giving them practical advice on the best ways to reduce their heating costs.
The advice on its website is tailored to be both practical and affordable and offers tips on where savings can be made, such as fitting draft excluders and insulation.
The MP (pictured) said: “I am supporting the Hole in the Roof campaign and pledge to make a change in my home because I know it will reduce my heating bills and also reduce greenhouse gas emissions too. I would encourage people to look at ways the campaign can help them save money this winter.”
