A BODY found at Winwick, Warrington, this morning, may be that of missing Polish restaurant worker Michal Chwesiuk.
The body, found in Old School House Lane, has not as yet been identified – but police believe it is the 25-year-old who disappeared on Friday, November 2.
There are no suspicious circumstances although the cause of death has not yet been ascertained.
Michal (pictured), of Elliott Avenue, Padgate, was last seen when he left work at the Spirit restaurant in Victoria Park.
A major police hunt, including tracker dogs and air support, has been going on for several days, concentrating on his route home from work.
But if it is confirmed that the body is Michal, it will be well away from his normal route.
A post mortem examination will be held shortly.
