Are there any roads NOT dug up at the moment? Maybe that would be more newsworthy.
Some people are never happy – moan about the state of the roads and then carry on moaning when they get fixed!
I’m not moaning about them being fixed. I’m moaning about them being fixed ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Have you tried driving around recently? Wilderspool Causeway, Knutsford Road, The A50, and Winwick Road are all dug up. That is every single major road in and out of Warrington. ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Hello?
Guess Warrington Council must have come in to some money. Repairing roads seems to me to be a good use of money. I suppose that the bad weather has delayed the repairs and hence why they are all now being done together. With regards to Winwick Road, wasn’t that an emergency repair.
Well said Macadam at least they are getting sorted before the winter sets in and it weathers them away even more.
I guess I’ll be doing my Xmas shopping online and at the Trafford Centre this year then!
