A50 roadworks start today

MAJOR resurfacing work on a busy route into Warrington will start today (Monday).
The work on the A50 Cliff Lane at Lymm, from Grappenhall Lane to the Poplar 2000 service area is expected to go on for five weeks.
Work will be carried out at the roundabouts at junction 20 of the M6 between the hours of 9pm and 5am, Monday to Saturday.

Warrington Borough Council has apologised for any disruption caused.

  1. I’m not moaning about them being fixed. I’m moaning about them being fixed ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Have you tried driving around recently? Wilderspool Causeway, Knutsford Road, The A50, and Winwick Road are all dug up. That is every single major road in and out of Warrington. ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Hello?

  2. Guess Warrington Council must have come in to some money. Repairing roads seems to me to be a good use of money. I suppose that the bad weather has delayed the repairs and hence why they are all now being done together. With regards to Winwick Road, wasn’t that an emergency repair.
