A new community art gallery is opening in Warrington town centre tomorrow, Saturday (October 27) run by local charity MacIntyre.
The Best of Northern Art on Bank Street, opposite the Indoor Market is a venture being run by the charity working in partnership with local artists.
Open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday, the gallery promises to be an exciting place where you can see, buy and make art. Pop in to see what classes you can get involved with in our studio. There will be arts and crafts, jewellery making, sculpting and more. You can learn a new skill yourself or bring your children to see what they can try their hand at. There will also be a range of beautiful and unique pieces for sale.
MacIntyre are recruiting volunteers who are passionate about art and would be interested in supporting the gallery, curating the work and working alongside people with learning disabilities to demonstrate the best of what local artists have to offer.
People interested in volunteering should contact Wendy Cook on 01925 234443 or [email protected]
