THE footpath on the western side of the A49 Winwick Road, Warrington is to be temporarily closed while work is carried out on the construction of a new access to the Alban Retail Park.
A temporary 30 mph speed limit will also be introduced on Winwick Road.
The restrictions will apply from the junction of the A49 with Hawleys Lane to the junction with Cromwell Avenue.
They come into force on Thursday, November 1 and will remain for up to six months when warning signs are displayed on site. Access will be under the control of the contractor.
Pedestrians are asked to use the footpath on the opposite side of the road.
