Northern Soul – re-live the magic

1

NORTHERN Soul fans are being offered a chance to “re-live the magic” that was Wigan Casino – in Warrington.
Saturday, October 20 will see the Parr Hall staging a night by Soul Over Easy, who provide quality Northern Soul and Motown events across the UK.
The night will feature the sounds that made Wigan Casino a major venue, with rare and not so rare Northern Soul and Motown being played.
National DJs, including Ian Gee, Pete Eccles, Brent Howarth, Mick H, Simon Hunt, and Smudge Smith will be spinning original vinyl and playing the “best of the oldies” throughout the night.
With limited seating and a large dance floor, dancing will definitely be encouraged.

  1. Only been once and it was a cracking night. The downside though was the “limited seating”. Promoters please take note: most of us old soulies are in our 50s now so need somewhere to park our pints, coats and bums.
