Appreciation of Effort Awards

NOMINATIONS are being sought for Warrington Disability Partnership’s annual Appreciation of Efforts Awards.
They go to individuals and organisations that have demonstrated excellence in support, services or employment for disabled people or their carers.
Nominations close on Friday November 2, and awards will presented at WDP’s Annual General Meeting on Monday December 3. Winners will be invited to the presentation ceremony, covered by the regional and local press, and will receive a framed certificate.
Chair of Trustees, Dave Thompson MBE DL said: “We invite you to nominate an organisation or individual who you think has excelled in providing innovative or exceptional services that have helped to improve the lives of disabled people living in and around Warrington.
“The aim of the awards is to reward and promote good practice.”
Nomination forms are available from the Centre for Independent Living, Beaufort Street, Disability Information Point in Warrington Market, Warrington Mobility & Independent Living Store (Golden Square Shopping Centre) and Shopmobility, Legh Street Car Park.
