New footpath warden wanted

VOLUNTEERS interested in trudging the footpaths of Lymm are being asked to step forward.
John Read is currently the parish council footpath warden, but he will be leaving the area next year so a new warden is needed.
A parish council spokesperson said: “The footpath warden walks the footpaths in the Lymm area and reports any problems to Warrington Borough Council. They also attend quarterly meetings with other footpath wardens and the borough council.”
The post is voluntary and anyone interested should contact the parish council clerk Geraldine Reynolds – [email protected], 01925 756434.
