Flooded school re-opens

ONE of the two Warrington schools closed by flooding earlier this week has re-opened today.
Meadowside Primary, in Clough Avenue, Orford -which two days ago was only accessible wearing wellies or waders – was operating as normal.
But William Beamont High School and specialist sports college was closed for a third day.
Flooding in the boiler room left the school without heat or hot water during the torrential storm that hit the Warrington area on Monday and Tuesday.
It is expected the school will re-open on Monday.
