WARRINGTON Town FC are ensuring sports fans in the town can enjoy the best of both worlds as they prepare for Saturday’s trip to Colwyn Bay in the 2nd qualifying round of the F.A Cup.
The club has booked a double decker bus from their club sponsors Network Warrington for their away day in the FA Cup, which will then transport fans back in time to watch their rugby league neighbours Warrington Wolves take on Hull FC in the Super League play-offs.
Warrington Town travel to Colwyn Bay in the FA Cup With Budweiser Second Qualifying Round with a 3:00pm kick off. At 6:45pm rugby league friends Warrington Wolves host Hull FC in the Stobart’s Super League play off’s.
As the two clubs share supporters, Warrington Town are offering the chance for fans to travel to Colwyn Bay and the Halliwell Jones Stadium to catch both fixtures and hopefully cheer the town’s sports stars on to victory.
The double decker bus provided by club sponsors Network Warrington will be leaving the football club’s Abacus Solicitors’ Community Stadium home at 12 noon with prices set at just £10 for adults and £5 for students and concessions. Please note these prices do not include admission to the ground.
Once the FA Cup tie is over at 4.45pm, the bus will depart Colwyn Bay and head straight for the Halliwell Jones Stadium at 6.30pm, where the rugby supporters will be dropped off in time for the Warrington Wolves game. Fans not attending the rugby league fixture will then be dropped off back at the football club.
Any sports fans who want to take the trip to Colwyn Bay and get back for the rugby league without driving, please book on the bus as soon as possible by contacting Warrington Town community development officer James Standing via email [email protected]
Spaces are limited and fans are urged to book promptly to avoid disappointment.

Cheer on Wire at the double!
