NETWORK Warrington’s newly converted open-top double-deck bus, made its inaugural outing to carry the victorious Warrington Wolves team through the town’s streets to a civic reception at Warrington Town Hall.
Managing Director David Squire commented, “We were absolutely delighted to be asked to transport the Wolves on their homecoming tour, celebrating the winning of the Carnegie Challenge Cup at Wembley Stadium, where they beat Leeds 35-18 in a stunning final.”
In front of thousands of supporters, the bus started at Orford Jubilee Park and took a route passing the Club’s Halliwell Jones Stadium, ending up at the Town Hall where it was escorted by a pipe band.
The open-topper is now available for private hire, and makes an ideal and unusual form of transport for Weddings, Prom evenings, the Races and corporate events.
