THERE will be more beer, more food and more music at this year’s Culcheth Beer Festival on Friday and Saturday, September 14-15.
This follows the huge success of the first festival last year, which raised £6,079 for Rotary charities.
The number of beers on offer is being increased from 30 to 45, a hog roast specialist has been laid on and there will music from jazz and oompah bands to add to the carnival atmosphere.
In return for the £5 entrance fee, each customer will receive a souvenir pint glass, also for sampling purposes, and a programme explaining the character and taste of each ale.
The festival will run from 5pm to 11.30pm on the Friday and 12 noon to 11.30pm on the Saturday at Culcheth Sports Club in Charnock Road.
Nominated drivers will receive free soft drinks.
Local and international good causes will benefit.
