THE annual Woolston Show takes place on Sunday, September 2 – with a wide range of attractions for local residents.
The show opens at 1pm and continues until 4.30pm in Woolston Park.
Among the activities will be a falconry display by Vale Royal Falconry, performances by the Earl of Stamford Morris Dancers a spectacular bike display in the main arena and a chance to enter a draw to win a Falcon Reactive mountain bike.
Other attractions include James the juggler, Punch and Judy, pottery painting, a dog show and a demonstration of willow weaving.
The 35th Woolston and District Horticultural Show will also be taking place in the afternoon.
Chairman of Woolston Parish Council, Cllr Maureen Banner, will start proceedings at 1pm.
Woolston Show is organised by the Stronger Together East team and the Friends of Woolston Park group, and sponsored by Woolston Parish Council. More information is available from Diane White on 07827 232 561.
