Legal Eagles in daring sky dive

A DARING sky dive over the Shropshire countryside has helped two secretaries from Warrington law firm Forshaws Davies Ridgway to raise more than £700 for charity.
Deborah Coppack, 31, mother of 16 month old twins, and 45-year-old Martina Hughes, also a mother of two children, parachuted out of an aircraft in a tandem jump over Tilstock Airfield, near Whitchurch.
Martina said later: “I must be completely bonkers doing this at my age but it was totally awesome. I was on a real high afterwards and I still can’t stop smiling.”
Martina has worked as a secretary for Forshaws Davies Ridgway for nearly 23 years and is now a PA in the Family Department. Her jump was made in aid of World Cancer Research, in support of her cousin who has recently been diagnosed with bowel cancer.
Deborah, who is a former pupil of Stockton Heath Primary School and Bridgewater High School, has worked as a legal secretary for around six years. Describing herself as an “adrenalin junkie”, she said: “I can’t wait to tell the twins all about Mummy’s great leap once they’re older.
“I decided to take part in the sky dive to raise money and awareness for the MS Trust because my father-in-law was diagnosed with the disease 11 years ago.”
