Wolves squad to face Bulls

WARRINGTON Wolves boss Tony Smith has announced his 19 man squad for the visit of crisis club Bradford Bulls on Sunday afternoon at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, kick-off 3pm.
The two sides have met twice this year already with the Wolves picking up both wins 23-10 in the League match at Odsal and 32-16 in the Challenge Cup tie at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The Wolves will go into this game looking to keep the pressure on Wigan at the top with the Bulls hoping for a win to push their way back into the top eight.
Wolves’ head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith said: “The Bulls have had some challenges to overcome and have recently been docked some points from the league table so they fall out of the top eight. They will feel aggrieved by that and have certainly used the rest of the adversity that they have had this year as motivation so no doubt they’ll add that onto the pile of motivation they already have. We have a healthy respect for them and they have performed pretty consistently this year. We’ve got to make sure we get out there and give the best performance we can and if we do that we give ourselves every chance for a victory.”
This week’s 19 sees the return of Rhys Evans and Simon Grix following their time on the sidelines through injury as Smith bids to give his strong squad game time.
Brett Hodgson and Ryan Atkins are rested.
