MORE than 200 young people celebrated the re-launch of Orford Youth Base.
The local community turned out to see the brand new programme and range of services offered by the youth base, which showcases the work of the Warrington Youth Service.
The Mayor, Cllr Steve Wright, and members of the Youth Parliament were among those enjoying the celebrations.
There was a DJ and live bands, zumba and samba, skateboards and scooters, and a climbing wall.
The Fire Service demonstrated one of its fire fighting vehicles and there was an opportunity to pose with a genuine Olympic torch. A portable youth base and young people’s information services were on hand to provide advice.
