Witness appeal following accident

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic accident at Lymm which left an 18-year-old man with serious head and spinal injuries.
The accident occured at 5.41pm on Friday, June 22, when emergency services were called to the collision on the B5159 West Lane, Lymm near to its junction with Kay Lane.
The collision involved a red Ford Fiesta, driven by a 60-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man from High Legh.
The Ford Fiesta was travelling in the direction of High Legh when it was in collision with the pedestrian.
The pedestrian received serious head and spinal injuries and was taken to Warrington District General Hospital for emergency treatment. He was then transferred to Walton Hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.
The Eastern Roads Policing Unit are currently seeking information from anybody who may have seen the collision or pedestrian prior to the collision taking place.
