Morley missing for cup clash

WARRINGTON Wolves skipper Adrian Morley has failed to recover from a neck injury in time for the Carnegie Challenge Cup quarter final against Catalan Dragons on Sunday, kick off 3.10pm.
Influential hooker Michael Monaghan is also missing from the 19 man squad along with half-back Richie Myler.
But first-team regulars Lee Briers, Chris Bridge, Brett Hodgson and Ben Westwood all return having been rested last week.
Both sides will go into the game on the back of a win last weekend in the Super League but the Dragons have the Easter win over the Wolves under their belt.
The last time the two sides met in the cup competition was back in 2010 in the semi-final. The Wolves took away a 54 points to 12 win and went on to lift the trophy at Wembley.
Wolves’ head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith said: “We would like to perform better than the last time. We didn’t handle that weekend over Easter as well as we would have liked. Catalan deserved their win and certainly put some points on us at the back end of the match and it was a tough one for us to take. We have got to make some changes following that and we will, we are looking forward to going over there and hopefully performing a lot better than what we did last time. Catalan are a very good team and we will have a healthy respect for them. When they perform well they can hurt any team as we have seen in recent times and that is the challenge for us, to go over there and perform. We are in their back yard and unfortunately last time we didn’t do very well. Does that motivate us and inspire us? Certainly.”
