WARRINGTON Wolves will be without experienced campaigners Garreth Carvell and Mickey Higham when they tackle arch rival Wigan Warriors on Friday night at the DW Stadium, kick off 8pm.
The top-of-the-table clash will see second-place Wolves take on third-place Warriors with the sides separated by just one point.
The Wolves won a tight encounter with Wakefield at the weekend with Wigan securing a win over the Broncos.
The last time the teams met at the DW the Wolves took away a 24-6 win.
Wolves head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith has named rookie hooker Brad Dwyer in his 19 man squad again as cover for Michael Monaghan.
Smith says Carvell is still suffering with a neck injury picked up during the defeat at Leeds and does not know when he will be fit to return.
Ben Harrison is also still sidelined along with long term absentee David Solomona.
Higham misses a return to his former club while serving the last game of his ban following a high tackle on Rob Burrow at Leeds.
