POLICE have issued an e-fit picture of a man they want to question in connection with a major theft of alcohol at Warrington.
The raid was on July 10 at around 3pm when two men drove into the yard of a business in Howley Lane in a white Transit van.
Once inside the yard, one of the men stole a tractor unit with a large blue curtain sided trailer which contained a substantial load of alcohol – including bottles of Whiskey and Courvoisier.
The tractor unit was found abandoned three days later on Heckmondwike Road in Dewsbury, Yorkshire – minus the trailer and alcohol.
One of the men is described as around 35-years-old, 5ft 2 inches tall, of slim build, with short brown hair and a moustache. He was wearing a high-visibility jacket and a blue boiler suit.
The other was about 30-years-old, of slim build, with shoulder length ginger hair and stubble on his face. He was also wearing a high-visibility jacket and blue boiler suit.
Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is urged to call Cheshire Police on 0845 458 0000 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
