Support for community initiative

MEMBERS of Warrington Conservative Future (WCF) are backing an initiative to support local communities.
They will carry out voluntary work for CommunityForce – which gives charities, projects and groups an opportunity to promote their work and the chance to access funds, skills and volunteers to make a lasting difference in their local communities.
CommunityForce is a NatWest initiative and is offering three awards of £6,000 for each area.
The winners will also be able to take advantage of volunteering support – and WCF members will be acting as volunteers.
Warrington residents, who know the projects and what will benefit the community most, will decide the winners.
Jonathan Levy, WCF chairman said: “CommunityForce is a fantastic initiative which is about more than just financial support; it is about encouraging people to volunteer their own time and talents to support the causes closest to their heart.
“There are many organisations in Warrington who could really benefit from CommunityForce and I am delighted that WCF members recognise its significance.”
Applications are now open and must be submitted online. More information can be obtained at http://communityforce.natwest.com or from the nearest NatWest branch.
