WOOLSTON Rovers Amateur Rugby League Club held its annual presentation evening at its base, Padgate Conservative Club.
Winners honoured during the night were: Coaches Award, Chris Mellor; Top Try Scorer, Paul Berry; Most Improved, Matt Dickinson; Players’ Player, Chris Mellor; Player of the Year, Paul Berry.
A special award went to a new player, Samoan forward George Smith.
Pre-season training is now underway on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm at Birchwood Forest Park. Any interested players should contact John Welsh on 07717 315 970.
