Town's first silent disco

WARRINGTON’S first “silent disco” will be staged at a young people’s glittering awards ceremony at the Parr Hall on Tuesday.
Inspire 2 is a celebration of the achievements of young people across the town, and local people are invited to nominate anyone they think deserves recognition.
The free event has been planned by young people with the help of Warrington Youth Support Service and will include the silent disco – where dancers listen to music using earphones, iPods and MP3 players – live music and dance performances, special guests, a buffet and a free prize draw.
The following day there will be a separate event to celebrate the achievements of hundreds of local young people who have gained a Duke of Edinburgh Award over the past 12 months.
Further information about the events is available from the service on 01925 442874 or email [email protected]
