Staff threatened with syringe

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a robber threatened two Warrington shop workers with a syringe.
The women were working at the Co-op Late Shop on Lovely Lane at 9.20pm on Saturday night when a man came in wearing a dark scarf over his face with his hood up.
The white man, aged 20 to 30, threatened them before going behind the counter and threatening them with a syringe before taking cash from the till and leaving the shop.
The robber had a slim build and was around 5 ft 6in tall. He was wearing a black tracksuit top with white letters across the back, grey jeans and brown shoes.
