Cancer support team to visit

A MOBILE cancer information and support vehicle is to visit Warrington twice during March.
The vehicle will be at the corner of Hawley’s lane and Longshaw Street, Dallam on March 9 between 9.30am and 2pm and in Harrison Square, Dallam between 2pm and 4.30pm.
On March 23, the vehicle will be visiting the Orford area.
Nurses will be on board to provide advice and information on cancer, cancer screening and health awareness.
Lifestyle checks will be available and a Stop Smoking advisor will be present to offer advice and stop smoking support. Representatives from Warrington’s Reach for Health team and NHS Warrington’s Wellbeing service will also be on hand to offer well-being and lifestyle advice.
The vehicle is provided by the Merseyside and Cheshire Cancer Network and all members of the public are invited to drop in.
