Rare cat found wandering

A CARING animal lover is searching for the owners of a rare cat found wandering in a country lane near Warrington.
The female lilac Burmese car was found in Hobbs Hill Lane at High Legh by local resident Ian Webb.
He immediately started trying to trace the owner. He called at nearby houses, posted notices on lamp posts and contacted the police and RSPCA.
The cat – described as being 3-5 years old, in very good condition and very friendly – is currently being cared for by Mr Webb and his family, much to the disgust of his own two cats!
He said: “My two cats are not too keen on her at all so we would like to find her owner if we could.
“She is quite a rare breed – not just an ordinary moggie.”
The owner, or anyone who knows who the owner is, can contact Mr Webb on 07980 617505.
